Brisbane Rail Stations
Lifts & escalators used in public transport applications are subjected to a unique operating environment that involves frequent heavy peak passenger loadings, the effects of extreme weather and deliberate vandalism by a small minority of users.
Our involvement with Queensland Rail since 1998 has resulted in significant improvements in reliability and improved passenger friendliness reflected in the reduced breakdown rate of lifts currently being installed on the Brisbane train network.
Solutions to problems developed by Lift Logic for Queensland Rail have been replicated in specifications used by Victorian and South Australia Rail operators.
Apartment Buildings
Management of lift services in buildings controlled by a body corporate under a Community Title Scheme present many and varied challenges. Not only is it necessary to determine what is technically required to improve lift services but there needs to be the preparedness and patience to explain in non technical jargon what is required and why it is required.
Our approach to lift modernisation is not to simply provide a committee with a scope of work or specification and leave it to the committee to explain or justify the need and extent of the work to lot owners. Our approach is to take the time to listen to peoples requirements and tailor the modernisation work to suit what the lot owners want and can afford and then remain available to answer questions.
Over the past nineteen years Lift Logic has assisted numerous body corporate to better manage their lift services. The buildings have ranged in size from single lift low rise buildings of three levels up to multi lift installations in high rise buildings.
